through THE NEW REVELATION

It is no secret, that over the many centuries since Christ, the Bible has been mishandled, mistranslated and misunderstood. Due to human weakness or ignorance, many of its passages are still mysteries to us which the theologians are unable to explain satisfactorily. But God decided that the time has come to tell the things which we could not bear at the time of His sojourn on earth.  In the New Revelation He tells of a conversation between Himself and His disciples, in which He says:

“At a much later time, shortly before a great judgment, there will again be awakened and admitted seers, who will have the hard task of purifying, within a short time, the doctrine that has become contaminated.” (Great Gospel of John, Vol. VI, Ch. 176, Par. 10) 

“Behold, men keep straying away from God more and more.   These people worship Me with their lips and dead worldly ceremonies, but their heart is remote from Me. (Gr. G. Vol. IX, Ch. 209, Par. 4) They all seek Me only in the churches and not on the roads of life…especially these who were meant to be the most fertile field for My doctrine, they, above all others, are the worst opponents to all that might awaken them from their so very conveniently arranged religious doctrine. WHAT IS THE NEW REVELATION?

E.F. Schumacher, the author famous for his book “Small is beautiful” gives the following description:

“The centerpiece of Lorber’s writings is the New St. John’s Gospel, in ten large volumes (the ten volumes are in the German language, but there is a condensed version of six volumes, both in German and English). I shall not attempt here to describe or in any way to characterize these works, all written in the first person singular ‘I, Jesus Christ, am speaking.’ They contain many strange things which are unacceptable to the modern mentality, but at the same time such a plethora of high wisdom and insight that it would be difficult to find anything more impressive in the whole of world literature. At the same time, Lorber’s books are full of statements on scientific matters which flatly contradicted the sciences of his time and anticipated a great deal of modern physics and astronomy. No one has ever raised the slightest doubt that the Lorber manuscripts came into existence during the years 1840-1864 and were produced by Jakob Lorber alone. There is no rational explanation for the range, profundity, and precision of their contents. Lorber himself always assured, and evidently convinced his friends that none of it flowed from his own mind and that no one was more astonished at these contents than he himself . ((E.F. There are also many predictions about the centuries to come, much of which seemed unthinkable in Lorber’s time – industrialization, technological advances, with their consequent unemployment, starvation, deforestation, environmental pollution, natural disasters, wars etc. with much loss of life and, eventually, the collapse of social structures as we know them.
